The iPad Mini is lovely...

So so light, lighter than Nexus 7 /Fire HD, and just feels better quality.

It won't always necessarily be the case, but at the moment Apple tablets are still far ahead of other tablets, and mainly because of the apps choice. Bigger screen on iPad Mini as well, for watching video, although you do do have the ballache of getting the right video format.
