Yeah it will create a restore before it installs windows updates etc
But as far as I know you can't export these on to another separate drive they are stored in windows them self so can only be used through the system restore setting. The other way you could do it is to get a backup program can't think of the names But they will back up everything to a separate drive hope this kinda helps. Am typing on a iPhone at work so excuse lack of punctuation
