It is true that WIndows 7 automatically sets up a restore point. I think. Well I don't know but it would be a good feature. The sort of thing that would come in handy. So I don't know. Sorry.

As to your question about the 2TB external hardrive, I'd say yes. But I don't know so I could be wrong.
