osteopath or chiropractor

right I need some advise please wrathers...

I'm a big sportsman (in every sense of the word at 6ft3) and have recently been getting really bad back pains with spasms/pins and needles in my side/stomach muscle. This is causing me a lot of problems and I'm the sort of person who never goes to the doctor and carries on playing rugby, cricket, footy, hockey etc and worry about the pain later. But this week is unbearable and I've just looked up what osteopaths & chiropractors do (and seen they like to take your poundersons to the tune of 85 for one hour!)

has anyone used these before, and if so could you recommend whether I should go to an osteopath or a chiropractor to sort it out.
