Actually, that's not really true
when we went on that unbeaten run the fans were really onside and singing his praises.
It was only when he started making stupid comments to the press, and then didn't give Hucks another year, followed by more stupid comments, that things turned.
And our porr run at the end of the season when he kept us up had a few people worried about what was to come, justifiably as it turned out.
Having said that, I agree that he wasn't as bad as Grant, Gunn or Hamilton.
