There isn't any real business plan behind these sites though

They are solely relying on advertising revenue through a site which offers no value to the end user.

Even big sites like compare the market and go compare are huge cons. I've used them both and found better deals by going direct to the supplier.

The only real winners from affiliate schemes are the sites that get cheap traffic from thousands of people clambering over each other to make small returns.
