to be honest if the police are are anything like they are round here,

they wouldn't be arsed about it. Weed is everywhere round here and it's the least of their problems what with the huge gun problem round here.

For instance there's a lad in our village who everyone knows deals in a bit of weed, nothing else. He got grassed up (excuse the pun) the other week. The police raided his house and found about ?1000 of weed. It was confiscated and he was released without charge. Reason being that they don't like to admit that there is an issue with drugs in our village so they release him without charge as to keep a clean record of no drug offences in this area. It's all about the police statistics. They only charge people if it suits them.
