i agree that the ross/brand reaction has been disproportionate and i do applaud russell brand for doing the decent thing. But, the BBC could have allowed two of it's employees to subject the organisation to a huge and costly court case (if it can happen once) through bad management and editorial control which we the licence payer would be obliged to fund.
