Harks back to my initial message

some people who hate religion that much, are as equally as bad (at least) as the very thing they attack

I had a religious upbringing, I didn't like it, I had a choice to walk away and I took it

That doesn't mean I was hurt or abused whilst I was brought up, it means I chose not to believe and left

Good friends of mine are religious, they don't force it on me, they are active in their community running clubs and in the main, spreading education about sexual health to teenagers. A fine and upstanding thing to do. Would you and me do that in their spare time?

They've also been to Equador and Paraguay on 2 occasions each to look after abandoned children with hiv and aids. Again self funded and unconditional

Next year they're going out there to live for 5 years to run an orhanage, and only need to rely on someone renting their house over here to pay the mortgage

Their attitude is to spend the next 5 years working, or spend the next 5 years doing something for people less well off than them

Mentally ill?

Completely unselfish and fantasticly generous attitude towards life
