Because of what I'd read below. As I said, I wasn't at the game. But if we continue to struggle, it'll only be a matter of time before they start anyway: at what stage do we reach the tipping point here?

The current regime have effectively had 12 seasons in charge so far. Of these, just two could be considered a success: and not once on any other occasion have we even mounted a sustained challenge for the play-offs! Over the same period, Ipswich have finished 4th, 5th, 3rd, 3rd, 5th (PL), 7th, 5th, 3rd and 8th; and Wolves are invariably knocking on the door of the top 6 practically every year.

How exactly do they plan on changing this? And what message does it send out if we keep on moaning how unfair modern football is, and that little old us can't possibly keep up? Fine, we can't keep up with sugardaddy-bankrolled clubs in the Prem - but Hull? Bristol City? Palace? Preston? Reading? Watford? DONCASTER?!?

Every year, however unpredictable this league might be, there's a few clubs who you know will almost certainly be in the shakeup for a top 6 spot. Apart from a spell of three seasons between 2001 and 2004, we've never been amongst these clubs. Why?
