I meant, I wasn't going to go into a "but he said this, then he did this

then he did that", with me doing a list in defence, when in the end it all went wrong

Worthington's whole management career was built on luck, he got Crouch and Huckerby at just the right time, he was under pressure before that, just look at the results before they arrived, he was being found out

From the premiership onwards, Worthington put us in a big mess. Considering we're not a club like Derby who sacked Davies, he had it on a plate to create a new era here, instead he single handedly screwed it up. I believe that. Why would we go from 8m in debt, to the premiership, parachute payments and the like and be 18m in debt

The board need to shoulder some of the blame for not seeing it, but ultimately, in the terms of impact on the club, Worthington was very dangerous

If I said to you Roeder will take us to the prem and help our 18m debt, but will take us down sign a load of s**t and then leave with us in 30m. With foresight on your side, would you think it a good thing?
