and don't blame anyone who's still at the club for where we are.

But facts are facts, blindas. We don't have any players left who the teams challenging for promotion would really want, perhaps our keeper aside. And we don't and won't have the resources to sign a player that any of those teams also want.

Of course, Roeder might turn out to be one of those managers capable of building a team that's much better than the sum of its parts. Or he might turn out to have a great eye of player that other clubs miss. Or we might just get really lucky.

But no reason to *expect* any of those things, surely?

Which is why I don't see any reason to expect us to suddenly start challenging for promotion.

Or am I missing something?
