Realising it usually comes very hard. They have grown up

being the best in all their schools, being told they are the best by parents et al and then going to the best University.
The ones that we came across who were the best were usually very bright kids but from less well off families. This meant they had usually gone to comprehensives and Uni's like Bristol, UCL, Imperial, Salford etc.
