I used to work at a high tech consultancy in Cambridge.

It was stuffed full of young graduates with brains the size of a planet. Trouble was, though being technically and mathematically very clever they had no engineering "feel" or experience. Their worst trait was the inability to admit they didn't know something. They seemed to see asking for help or advice a sign of weakness, a sort of losing face. It led to some very dangerous situations. They were usually found out by being given enough rope to hang themselves with (metaphorically, of course)
