had we had the option of saying 'Nope not for sale'
Dickson would then of had to go to Keane (via agent) and say "i'm desperate to come, offer more, i'll wave me signing on fee, contract payoff etc" which puts us in a stronger position and gives the chance of getting more.
Or he accepts he's important to us and stays.
Sunderland have the finances to pay more than what they have for him.
