Balls are regularly changed at the request of the fielding side.....
Out of shape, etc.
This change was in the last revision of the laws, 2004 I think. This is the first time it's been used in a Test macch but it has been used in ODIs (Dravid last year) and in the County Champtionship (Surrey last year).
