What if it was a game in the local park?
Where are the TV cameras from which to prove it? The same laws apply.
You call it as you see it and hope the evidence is there to back you up. Mostly it is. Akhtar, Dravid, Atherton have all been seen amongst others.
What's new is the summary justice that the umpires can give out. Which is debatable but would it be fair on the batting side to have to continue with what the umpires believe to be an unfair ball?
