Our scouting system must be terrible

Surely there are some good young players in the lower leagues who would be worth a gamble and would not break the bank? Or even the Irish league, look at Doyle at Reading 20k what a snip!

On the subject of Irish players, i was standing next to Steve Foley at the Ipswich Framlingham game last Friday, i was listening into his conversation and he was saying that a vast majority of the Ipswich academy/youth boys are from Ireland as they are a lot hungrier to suceed and th eyouth set up over there is excellent!
