I'm inclined to agree with you but

Mr Worthington isn't: "The fact is, as far as big strikers are concerned, there is no in-between - they are either very expensive or they are not any better than we have got already."
And it is his opinion that counts - which makes it odd that he went for Earnie when he must already have known that, Hulse for instance, was beyond his means. Or do you think that the loss of cash from selling 15 or 20,000 shirts is the difference between us buying and not?
