Striker overload

The striker hunt does seem misguided - although his need for a 'big man' suggesrs the long ball will be integral to the game plan. His comment that such strikers are either too expensive or no better than what we've got is bizarre - he calls Leon a big striker (along with Thorne, who maybe 6 foot but never leaves the floor on account of those dodgy knees). Rather, we have a whole load of strikers who play-off a target man or through on the ground (Earnie, Hucks, Mcveigh, the real Leon, Hendo, Jarvis). As such, the right midfield and right-back positions seem most important - but Halford is apparently too slow, and not selling Green seems to mean we have no cash. Basically, the usual pre-season organisation debacle. The team lacks balance, and NW has done nothing to rectify it
