Yeah, Grosso was fantastic too ...

Although I felt that the German achievement deserved to be recognised in the selection of some of their players, and Lahm had a fantastic tournament - scored a brilliant goal in the opening game, and always looked both a threat going forward and a rock at the back.

Cannavaro, Gattuso and Zambrotta in my starting line-up with Buffon as 2nd choice keeper seemed fair to me - I like to think my team recognised most of the best players in the tournament whilst also acknowledging which teams (particularly Ghana, France and Germany) over-performed.
