... Lehmann's penalty shoot-out performance against Argentina was fantastic, and he got far less protection from his defence than did Buffon. The fact that he's waited so long, and struggled so hard to make the German No. 1 shirt his own, and then grabbed his chance so emphatically, swung it for me as well - Lehmann excelled himself whereas I felt Buffon just lived up to his own (admittedly very high) standards.
