criticism not allowed?

i like watching the england womens team, if i didn't enjoy it i wouldn't bother my arse with it but i don't think they should be above criticism. to me they looked laboured last night in comparison to their previous outing. they looked ponderous for the first half hour and then when the italians scored it looked like the game plan went out of the window. 27 shots on goal only 5 pretty tame eforts in the 90 england huffed and puffed their way and really should have gone out but for severini making a right old hash of a golden chance to put italy 2-0 at the fag end of the game. she then goes on to concede the match winning pelanty. cheers sev!

i know semi finals can be cagey affairs a lot of the time butengland weren't great last night by any stretch and that's by their own standards not man city's or barcelona's men.
