I was trying to make a similar point to PP below. We rarely watch football purely because of the 'quality'. We mostly watch because we have some kind of affinity or connection in some way. So women's football allows women / girls to connect to the game in way that mens doesn't. And that is a good thing. And, like you say, there are lots of good reasons to support that.
