It's possible that if this is the start of a year of pretty awful results and performances

then DW's team will get roundly booed. There was nothing left in the goodwill bank for Deansmith - but it wasn't like that at the start. I think everyone wanted him to succeed. I'm not sure if you realise, but I was quite a big Daniel Farke fan and I really wanted Deansmith to succeed.

The thing that's confusing me about this thread is that it somehow seems to have become a decisive thing and I'm not sure why. I can't work out what 'ABS' means so I'm not sure how I've become their spokesperson or what I'm championing.

This is how I see it:
1. We've had a year of DS football where we've all got more and more miserable.
2. Pretty much universally the NC fanbase thought it was time for him to be sacked. So now let's move on.
3. DW's first two league games made us happy. DW's attitude in those two games made us happy. Really promising start!
4. Our team has been broken for a while and it will take time to fix it. I'm happy to give it more time before despairing!
