Why does NATO have to keep expanding???

Because the USA wants to expand their influence and dominance. If a country does not do as they are told, then that country is a problem and must be punished in some way. Are the Russians dictated to by the USA? No.
Why can't countries coperate with each other? If you have one country trying to rule the roost all the time this only leads to more conflict and human suffering. The world cannot afford to have nuclear armed countries in conflict with one another as there won't be a habitable planet earth left to live on.
This conflict must be ended by diplomacy. I don't see any of that going on. Only more arms are being sent to the Ukrainians. This is just going to result in more death, destruction and refugees. If conflict continues without any ceasefire and talks to try and resolve it then every day that passes just leads to a greater likelihood of nuclear conflict. Worrying times.
