There weren't any moments like that in Farke's first 12 months, were there?
All I remember of his first season were some moments of exceptional magic from Maddison, a few decent 1-0 smash and grab wins on the road and some very boring home games. 0-0 with Burton springs to mind.
I'm not doubting the mans charisma, or the way the fans grabbed hold of the excitement of the club going in a new direction.
I'm not even saying Smith is the right man for the job, but what I am saying is that all those that think Farke is amazing and that's a reason we should sack smith and get someone else in, would do well to remember that success under Farke took time, and Smith should be given that too.
I doubt he will deliver success, but I don't think that's down to his personality, it's down to the squad that he's got. As I posted the other day, I'd love it if he were the problem as replacing him to guarantee success is easy. Unfortunate reality is likely that our squad isn't good enough (although better than what we've seen so far results wise.....).
