Whoever followed Farke had an unenviable position

But I think we've been lucky to have managers for the last several years where the feeling is that they are putting everything into the club.

I'm thinking of Farke and Neil.
They came across as truly dedicated, searching for improvement, motivated to go the extra mile to bring the best our of each player, in their own way.

Maybe I'm wrong but one of the things that gets me about the current situation is it seems like just a job for Smith and Shakey, thus not being too bothered, lots of laughs and banter...

I mean I can't blame him, lots of us don't want our jobs to define everything about us
