unilaterally. Putin is clearly a paranoid psychopath and has implicitly threatened the first use of nuclear weapons against anyone who intervenes in Ukraine militarily so we really can’t put boots on the ground or try to implement a no-fly zone. However the Sec General has stated clearly that they/we will respond to defend every inch of territory belonging to any NATO country if threatened by invasion or attack by Putin, and in those circumstances any nuclear first strike by Putin would result in the immediate obliteration of him and his country. Let’s hope someone in the Kremlin has the balls to have word in his ear, preferably written on the side of a 9mm bullet.
