I did dryish January
Dry January but a couple of predefined days off for relatives' birthday parties. No real issues not drinking. No DTs or cravings so appears I'm not an alcoholic... Was expecting to feel much clearer headed and to sleep much better but found I was sleeping much worse. No idea why. Was good to give my liver a break.
I have found that I have a really full social life at the moment. This is due to everyone making up for lost time during lockdown. e.g. I have a delayed new years eve party tomorrow. Once this 'post pandemic party period' is over I think I will go back to dryish month every month. Specify a few drinking days and no booze for the remainder.
