Since you asked and didn't have some kind of meltdown tilt....
Normally in most fields you would go to an expert.
The problem with a lot of financial "experts" are they have a vested interest in selling you products that benefit them rather than you.
If you have a long term horizon, the fees that you pay any fund are CRITICAL.
In most cases you best bet is often buying the whole market or index funds that buy the whole market with incredibly low fees.
