Did you spec the wrong paint for that surface?
Did you prepare the surfaces properly?
Did you ask him to get it done in two days because you were in a hurry/didn't want to pay him enough to do a proper job?
Did you skimp on having the heating on so it didn't dry properly?
(B) if he was actually at fault for the poor finish
(3) if it was a bit 50:50 between rushing it and environmental conditions,
(A) if you are just fussy clients...
