dilemma... (no Mary option)
Decorator quoted for 2 days work (we have used him before and he was very good)
We think he rushed it (compared to previous work) and the paint started to flake / crack when drying - too many coats in one day, drying at different rates (his words)
He came back and re-did, but again it dried flaky - he came again and it's better (not 100% perfect)
He has now invoiced for the 4 days (even though two were not full days) so double what we expected
I want to be reasonable as he has obviously had to come back but if he had quoted correctly we wouldn't be in this situashun - what would you do, mmmmm?
A, Pay in full
B, Pay for the original quote of 2 days
3, Split the difference
5, Not pay at all
