If anyone thought he was clearly worth more than Leicester were paying they could have offered a bit more. Everyone at the time thought it was a fair price, not an amazing bargain. Premier League clubs don't value performances in the Championship very highly - Man U only paid £15m for Dan James. Doesn't mean they are right, but it determines what you can get for players who aren't "Prem proven".
