I've been in and out of hospital enough over the past 6 years with my wife and kids to know that a child sleeping on the floor of a waiting room is hardly headline news (the better A&E waiting rooms have armless chairs so you can lie them down on row of chairs instead)

The fact Johnson appears to lack even basic empathy and has a near total inability to be able to handle the cut & thrust of unscripted interviews/questioning from hostile journalists etc is much more interesting.

I know he is lazy so I wasn't expecting a particularly good grasp of policy detail, but I genuinely thought he would be better than this.
