And then the co-ordinated social media attacks claiming it was faked by people claiming to be nurses with identical Tweets. That's the really f**ked up part of it.

I worked in NHS comms and one party or the other making political capital out of patients suffering is entirely routine. I once got a bollocking for accusing an MP on the radio of using us a political pawn, haha. I was right, but I wasn't allowed to actually say it.
