Distance run per game, 2015/16. Norwich, bottom. And out on our feet by mid-Jan

My views on our chances changed at Stoke. When O'Neil was stupidly sent off, but we looked shattered. Physically gone.

Compounding that was comically spending so much on Naismith, only to panic after his first match, and basically never use him after that in the role we'd signed him to fill. Confusion piled on confusion. The following season, we had no spirit, no resilience, and continued conceding late goals and producing regular no-shows.

By contrast, under Lambert, we were probably the fittest side in the Championship. And certainly the mentally toughest. Naturally so, given how driven and demanding he was.
