What I said was we have some fans

Who are prominent on social media or indeed in some cases as quasi media types who love to jump on any accusation that our fans are prejudiced or impatient or get on the players backs.

Compared to virtually every other club in this country we really don’t. We have one of the biggest, most patient a loyal fan bases in the country and it p**ses me off that some of our own fans and indeed officers of the club help to hype up a few groans from the crowd to make it sound like he was the victim of some kind of hate campaign. Football fans will always groan when players miss Easy chances or misplace easy passes. That’s all it ever was.
