Different players react differently.

I remember Darren Kenton getting booed off at HT and subbed after 2 errors gifted goals to the opposition. He came back as a better, reliable player - imho the best defensive header of a ball I have seen in a city shirt. Young Jacob may have taken exception to criticism, but is better off sounding the team player and not burning any bridges by slagging off loyal supporters.
