Good to hear

Very familiar with Berlin, but only just caught the last vestiges pre-gentrification. Still has some rough edges, and there is still this strange fusion between the old Soviet attitudes and the more germanic stereotypes (the Brandenburg Airport fiasco a classic example) but it’s well on its way to being another capital city as the old places get ‘developed’ - ironic that it’s the ‘new’ Russian money that has pushed a lot of speculative redevelopment. Not made it to Hamburg yet....
