My two bobs worth
Be aware that the model number is significant no matter what manufacturer. As a guide usually the top of the range has all the extras - better sound, nicer remote control, maybe a bit nicer looking - but the next two models down wii often have the same panel i.e the same picture quality. Below the top 3 the pq can worsen quite rapidly.
OLED are best but most expensive. After that they are all LED with different picture enhancement, like the Samsung QLED, which are overpriced.
Your best bet is to look for deals on outgoing models, obviously still 4K and HDR, which makes the biggest difference. Also, sizewise, you can sit much closer to a 4k telly, so the biggest you can afford or fit on your wall is the way to go.
Crampton and Moore often do better deals than Richer. Look them up on Twitter and there's usually a number to call for special deals.
