The former was dead in 1994 anyway? But all possibly a moot point.
Webber is a Director, has football credentials, and the manager reports to him. Clearly a better football line manager than Doncaster for example.
I suppose it would be nice to have someone like Dave Stringer on the Board... but is it really that much of a problem? I'm not sure
