Bristol City, April 1972. 2-2 draw.

Stood on a milk crate against a crush barrier in the South Stand. I was exhilarated by two things - the huge number of people (35,000!) and the lush green of the pitch under the floodlights (it was an evening game). But best of all was being allowed to stay up late!
