I feel your pain mate. It's hell. We politely had a word with our neighbour - she had 5 dogs in a 3 bed house - and she chose to wage a facebook campaign against us for daring to criticise her beloved pets. In the end we moved house. Sounds extreme, in truth, we wanted to move anyway but her actions drove us to move quicker, so in a way I'm grateful!

One thing to consider is that if you go to the police, you have to declare it when you move. Fortunately we didn't and by all accounts, two of the noisier dogs have karked it so it's much quieter there now.
