Yes we did. But maybe that makes us stupid

And by that, I mean football fans in general, and certainly include myself. Football is meant to be an escape, an entertainment; fans pay ridiculous amounts of money, and players earn far more ridiculous amounts. So it's awfully hard to tolerate a series of witless scufflings.

But in our reaction to Hughton - who was doubted practically from the off given what happened in his first game - maybe we, all of us, had a much grander view of the squad and the club as a whole than was justified.

Nothing in what's happened since he left, to either Norwich or Chris Hughton, suggests his approach was wrong. Quite the reverse actually.
