Yes.i think we will end up either in the EEA or a similar agreed model with

Access to the single market, still paying contributions to the EU budget in return for that access and a revised form of "freedom of movement" that takes away the "job-seeker" element and allows for some form of emergency break in prescribed circumstances but allows the EU to claim that freedom of movement is still in place and us to say we have regained ultimate control over our immigration system.

In a nutshell the benefits will be:

1. No longer subject to the common fisheries policy;
2. No longer subject to the common agriculture policy;
3. Ability to do our own trade deals with other nations around the world;
4. Our courts no longer subordinate to the ECJ;
5. Whilst our businesses exporting good and services to the EU or trading/interacting with the EU will have to adhere to EU Regulations on those products our other businesses would not. I accept that we lose a degree of control over those regulations but to be honest any exporter of goods and services has to meet the requirements of its export market so I don't see it as hugely different;
6. Our Parliament no longer subject to legal requirement to incorporate EU Directives into our law although can obviously choose to do so if it desires.

I actually think that medium term us leaving could be beneficial for the EU and the Eurozone too because we have been the awkward member of the family blocking several things that they have wanted to (and perhaps needed to do).

Of course its still possible that this episode will bring about reform in the EU (see current power struggle between the Council and the Commission) that gives the UK Government the opportunity to put it to another vote. I would not rule that out although its not what I think should happen.
