Excellent post

The championship manager tactical geniuses on here will obviously disagree (go on most fan forums and most will say the manager is tactically naive, should be replaced, etc), but we've had some horrendously bad luck at times, which is obviously a massive handicap when we're already close to having the worst starting XI and squad in the league, plus one of the lowest net spends on transfers.

Even simple things such as having an improved defence from pre season onwards, plus a good CF for this level, would have made a world of difference. Not everything is about "tactics".

I'm surprised we're not closer to Villa considering the bad luck and the lack of quality in the squad, which has been managed by someone who apparently (according to the know it alls on here) makes huge tactical errors every week.
