But there's no evidence whatsoever that playing ugly would get us better results (remember the last relegation). My argument is that playing exactly the same style, team selections etc. that we have this season would in the vast majority of cases have resulted in a lot more points than we actually have. That's the nature of football. Sometimes it goes your way, sometimes it doesn't. Lambert wasn't a genius and Neil isn't a useless mug. It isn't always necessary (or for the best) for heads to roll.
