Is it that obvious?

It's not clear cut. The poor teams look better because the top teams aren't as good as they were.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing, but I would say we were as good as Bournemouth are and Swansea were as good as Watford are (or vice versa).

West Brom, Stoke, Everton etc are probably about the same, Villa are worse now, so are Newastle and Sunderland.

It's just not as clear as you like to claim.
