doesn't the relative weakness of the bigger teams make it harder?

As not only do you have to beat fellow relegation candidates and take points from the middling teams, you also now have to take points from the top teams too (because everyone else is). And when you add the likes of Leicester into the mix, there are more top class teams to beat this year.

You could argue it's easier to get the points from the big teams this year, but it all adds to the pressure so in the round I think it's a much harder slog.
